ChefOS ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our restaurant management application.

Information We DON'T Collect

ChefOS is designed with privacy as a core principle. We want to be crystal clear about what we DON'T do:

• We DO NOT collect any personal information
• We DO NOT collect employee data
• We DO NOT collect payroll information
• We DO NOT collect financial records
• We DO NOT collect scheduling data
• We DO NOT collect inventory information
• We DO NOT track your usage patterns
• We DO NOT use analytics or tracking tools
• We DO NOT share any data with third parties
• We DO NOT require account creation
• We DO NOT require an internet connection

How Your Data is Stored

All data you enter into ChefOS is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure data storage (SwiftData/Core Data). This includes:

• Employee information and schedules
• Payroll records and wage calculations
• Work hours and payment history
• Order management data
• Inventory records
• All app settings and preferences

Your data never leaves your device unless YOU choose to export it using our backup features.

Data Backup & Export

ChefOS provides optional backup and export features:

• Automatic local backups stored on your device
• Manual export to create backup files (JSON format)
• WhatsApp export for sharing specific records
• All exports are initiated by you
• You control where exported data is saved
• We do not have access to your exports

iCloud (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync for the app through iOS Settings, your ChefOS data may be stored in your personal iCloud account. This is:

• Controlled entirely by you through iOS Settings
• Stored in YOUR iCloud account, not ours
• Protected by your Apple ID credentials
• Subject to Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy

We do not have access to your iCloud account or data.

Third-Party Services

ChefOS does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The app functions completely offline and independently.

Children's Privacy

ChefOS is a business management tool intended for use by adults managing restaurant operations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect any personal information from any users.

Data Security

Your data security is important to us:

• All data is stored using iOS's secure storage systems
• Data is protected by your device's security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• No data transmission to external servers
• Regular automatic backups (stored locally)
• You maintain complete control over your data

Your Rights & Control

You have complete control over your data:

• View all your data within the app
• Edit or delete any records
• Export your data at any time
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
• No account to manage or delete
• No data requests needed (we don't have your data)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
